Succession

• 25th Amendment made the VP the successor to the
  President.

  of 1947.

Disability

• Section 3 and 4 of the 25th Amendment detailed
  Presidential disability.
• The President can inform Congress, in writing,
  that he isnt able to fulfill his duties.
• The VP and a majority of the cabinet can inform
  Congress in writing.

Vice Presidency

• The VP resides over the Senate and can decide
  presidential disability and thats about it.
• To replace a VP the president nominates someone
  and both houses must approve it by a majority
  vote.
• The president cannot fire the VP.
