  • The Road and Bridge construction program is
    funded by the Federal Transportation Bill under
    the Indian Reservation Roads (IRR) program. In
    recent years, this fund has amounted to
    approximately 45 million annually for the Navajo
    Nation.

  • Nation needs to become actively involved and
    assist with key Transportation issues Issues
    like BIA Road Maintenance short falls, successful
    implementation of the Fuel Excise Tax program,
    establish Borrow Pits, establish Gravel Pits,
    establish partnerships with all Counties, etc.
