• The Greeks had many other governments because
  there was many city-states in Ancient Greece.
• Aristotle divided Greek governments into
  monarchies, oligarchies, tyrannies, and
  democracies and they still use them today.
• The first people who built a democracy were the
  Athenians.

• The government of Democracy was ruled by the
  citizens of Greece.
• The citizens chose their leader called a tyrant.
• If the tyrant wasnt helping Greece he, would be
  replaced!!!

• Before a Tyrant was chosen he had to swear to
  help the poor along with making Athens and Greece
  better.
• The people of Greece respected the Tyrants and
  his rules but not if they were unfair!
• The Greek citizens fought for their Democracy.

• A war began because Princess Helen was taken by
  the Trojan Prince.
• Many Trojans were kidnapped and killed during
  this time.
• This war lasted about 10 ½ years!!!
