Title: MCCDE GRANT PROJECT PARTNERS MEETING

2Preliminary MCCDE Partners Meeting
- In light of recent events, I would like to offer
the following items as a general guideline and
agenda for our meetings tomorrow and Thursday. I
know that all of you may have ideas about the
agenda, and I think we should be as inclusive as
possible. However, our main objective (in my
humble opinion) should be to work through
whatever issues remain, develop a workable
agenda, and move forward towards year 3 and
completion. - To that end, I would offer the following (in no
particular order) - a discussion of where we are to date
- a team building exercise
- an agenda validation exercise
- a statement from Gary as to the rationale of
Purdue's decision regarding the grant - coverage of the objectives/contract from the
grant to do a gap analysis (this will take up
most of the two days probably) - at least a rough plan for how we address the gaps
found and a plan for Year 3, especially
curriculum models, K-12 outreach and industry
training. - A frank and open discussion of roles and
responsibilities going forward - A basic timeline/order of events for execution of
events until end of Year 3 - a basic discussion on future activities (as time
allows) - Please forward this to other team members as
necessary. I was not sure who all was coming.
Also, please let me know if you have any
questions or concerns, and I will see you all
tomorrow. - Nate
