Introduction

• Learn about the worlds most illustrious bicycle
  race.

Task

• Give an account of Le Tour de France, its
  history, the many prizes, and its current
  problems.
• Create a PowerPoint to be shown in class that
  presents information about the Tour de France,
  and that includes images, some French text from
  resources, and that may include sound (i.e.,
  voice, music, if appropriate) or video (if
  appropriate).

Process

• First, make daily entries into a record in
  Blackboards Discussion Board of what each
  participant has accomplished. (This will count to
  grade.)
• Second, read Web pages resources in French.
  Decide who will read each Web page and who will
  determine how it will inform the PowerPoint
  report.
• Third, create the PowerPoint itself and determine
  who will present orally its various pages or
  sections.
