Some Information about the Life Cycle of a Frog

• About 6-21 days after being fertilized, the egg
  will hatch
• Egg masses form large cocoon-like foamy masses
• Tadpoles have poor gills, a mouth, and a tail
• 7-10 days the tadpole will begin to swim around
  and feed on algae
• 6-9 weeks, little tiny legs start to sprout
• After 9 weeks the tadpole will look like a tiny
  frog with a long tail
• By 12 weeks, the froglet will look like an adult
  frog
• Between 12-16 weeks the frog will have completely
  grown into a adult frog
