Logging onto ClassXP

• You will be presented with a list of your classes
  - select the period you are in and you will be
  presented with a seating chart of the class.
• You can move the students around by dragging
  their names.

• You will find an icon which looks like this -
• Double click on this icon to get you into ClassXP

Enter your logon in UserID and then your password

Then press enter or click on Login and get a menu
of classes

To Take Attendance

• Click on any student name in the class and then
  go up to the class menu on the menu bar at the
  top and click on take attendance
• if it is a school day you can click once on the
  student and they will be entered as absent,
  another click will mark them tardy

• Click on them again and they return to present.
• After you finish taking attendance click on
  graybar at the top of the screen which says
  Click Here when done.
• Then close out of the class by going to Class
  Menu and selecting Close Class

CLASS XP notes

• If you leave your computer unattended when you
  are logged into SASI - it will automatically
  request you password again or log you out
  completely. This is to maintain security of the
  system.

• You can only take attendance for the current day
  - any changes for other days must be given to the
  guidance secretary
• You can double click on any student in your class
  to pull up their information

Severest WARNING!!!

• NEVER, NEVER, NEVER Log out of any SASI program
  by clicking the X in the upper right-hand
  corner
• This leaves files open on the network.
• You must go to the file menu and select Quit.
• If, by accident you do X out, log back in and
  exit properly.
