Hardware Requirements

• JLPSoft was designed to be fully functional on
  hardware that was able to run Windows 98
• Minimal recommended configuration for the server
  is a Pentium III 750MHz with 256 Mb of memory
• Minimal recommended configuration for the clients
  is a Pentium III 450MHz with 128 Mb of memory
• We deployed in the past on systems with Pentium
  33 MHz processors with 32 Mb of memory

OS and Database Requirements

• We recommend to deploy the system on Windows
  Server 2003 for the server and Windows XP Pro for
  the clients
• We can deploy both the client and the server on
  any version of Windows including Windows 98,
  Windows ME, Windows NT4 (SP6), Windows 2000, and
  Windows XP
• We have deployed in the past on Windows 95 but we
  do not recommend it due to operating system
  instability
• JLPSoft is independent of it database engine and
  we normally deploy using royalty free databases
  to lower the cost of ownership
• For smaller deployments we use the free Access
  2000 database format and for larger applications
  we use the Open Source MySQL database engine
• As an option we can integrate any database engine
  that functions through the ODBC standard
