What is the Water Cycle

• The cycle of evaporation and condensation that
  controls the distribution of the earth's water as
  it evaporates from bodies of water, condenses,
  precipitates, and returns to those bodies of
  water

What the Water Cycle does

• Journey the water takes as it circulates from
  the land to the sky and back again.
• As water goes through its cycle, it can be a
  solid, a liquid, or a gas.
• The Water Cycle is a never ending cycle that
  evolves through Precipitation, Evaporation and
  Transpiration

How it starts

• Precipitation rain, snow, sleet, hail, fog
• Evaporation through the earth and other water
  bodies such as the ocean
• Transpiration From plants
• Condenses Into clouds and forms precipitation
  and the cycle starts all over
