best prepare their children for entry into the

the School to help acclimate themselves to the
expectations and rigors of School life. - Any support the Parents need will be offered.

share their time and technical expertise with
their learners outside of the curriculum and
school hours.
7The Vision of The SchoolThe Classroom
- The School will have no walls.
- Students strengths will be capitalized upon by
increased emphasis upon that strength. - If a students level of proficiency is higher
than the class in which he is placed, the student
would have the opportunity to be placed within a
class that is an appropriate placement for him
regardless of his grade level.
8The Vision of The SchoolThe Classroom
(continued)
- The same would be done for any other student in
any curriculum area so that strengths and needs
are emphasized. - Technology in the classroom would be available
and freely used by the students in order to
assist their learning. - The faculty will be comfortable with the freedom
of the use of technology and allow for its growth
and development.
9The Vision of The SchoolThe Classroom (continued)
- Technology in the classroom would be available
and freely used by the students in order to
assist their learning. - Evening and weekend activities planned by
interested Staff would be provided including
in-School overnighters with parent
involvement and assistance.
10The Vision of The SchoolAssessment
- Assessments would be based upon the curriculum.
- Informal assessments would be given on a regular
basis. - Teachers would be afforded the opportunity to
articulate with each other often.
