• Students learn many different ways
• All of these styles must be addressed
• Many lessons can cover many different learning
  styles

• Teachers use many different styles to teach a
  lesson
• Since students learn through different styles
  they must be taught in different ways
• Many lessons can be taught using many different
  teaching styles

Preparation

• Teachers must be properly prepared for a lesson
• This includes blueprints, lesson plans,
  instructional materials, instructional media, and
  activities

Objectives

• Provide a foundation for the lesson
• Must be clear and concise
• Should indicate what a student will be able to do
  in relation to the material

Instruction

• The main part of teaching
• Takes most of the time
• Includes delivery of material, guided practice,
  examples, instructional materials, projects,
  assessment, and integration.
• All other Essential Elements directly influence
  this section

Reflection/Revision

• A good lesson is never completed
• Every lesson should be re-evaluated and revised
• Sometimes very little is revised but sometimes a
  lot is changed
• A teacher should try to make the most out of
  every lesson
