17Getting Started Online Progress Report
Open Internet Explorer. Access the Accountability
and Research page http//tusdstats.tusd.k12.az.us
Click Employee Information Pages or Student
Level-Information for Teachers.
This will take you to the Authentication
Page. Enter your username and password.
18Click Teacher Information page. Under the
Student Information, click Elementary Progress
Report (RCB).
19Click Build Student Report Cards.
Parental Access Information can be printed from
this screen.
20Student names will be listed, with grade and home
language. (This is a kindergarten teacher.)
21Home Language and Status can be changed by
clicking on the Edit Button.
Drop down menus will appear.
22Status bar
Change the entire class status by using the drop
down menu at the bottom of the page.
For each quarter the status will remain the same
until changed manually using this feature.
23Grading You can enter the rubrics by clicking on
Select a student or Grading tab.
24Language Arts
Writing Components will reflect Six Trait Scores.
Click to enter or view writing scores. Scores
will automatically be added to printed copy.
25Click Show Scoring Guide to view or hide Scoring
Guide.
Click Hide PO Bullets to hide or view PO Bullets.
26Hiding the scoring guide and PO Bullets will
allow each content area to be viewed on the
screen without scrolling.
27Rubrics can be changed with drop down menus. You
may also type number and tab to next section.
Changes must be saved before moving onto the next
area.
28A message will prompt you to save if you have not.
29Move to the next subject area by clicking on the
tabs, or
.Move to the next student by clicking on the
arrow hands.

31Content Standards Enter data for Social Studies,
Science, Technology, Foreign Language, Physical
Education, Fine Arts, and Band/ Orchestra.
32Growth/ Learner Qualities
33Attendance/ Assessment Tab Check the appropriate
boxes to indicate type of Assessments used in
your class.
Add appropriate Support Programs.
Grade assignment will only show on 4th quarter.
Attendance will be entered automatically through
Mojave.
34Comments Tab Comments can be added in Language
Arts (green), Mathematics (blue) and General
(orange).
Comments from past quarters will appear for
reference or future use.
35The first drop down menu includes

Spanish characters can be added as needed to
comments.
37- Comments
- Language Arts and Math are 800 characters.
- General is 1500 characters.
- When you save your comment, a RED warning will
notify you that your comment may be truncated. - Click Apply to view comment in English and
Spanish.
38You may use last quarters comments. Click here
and edit as needed.
39Option Saving Custom Comments. Note Custom
Comments DO NOT automatically translate into
both languages.
Click New Custom Comment.
40Add a title for the comment (Example Creative
Use of Language).
Add comment English Male and English Female
and/or Spanish Male or Spanish Female
boxes. Spell check and Save.
The comment will become both language and gender
specific. Your comment will now be saved under
the custom comment menu and can be used in any
comment area.
41POs Taught The PO Checklist only needs to be done
once a quarter. It will apply to all students.
Click on POs Taught tab.
Select the strand. Save Changes upon completing
each strand. Continue with each strand in
Reading, Writing, Mathematics.
42For convenience, there are Save buttons at the
top and bottom of the page.
If you are a multi-grade class, you will need to
complete a checklist for each grade.
43The intent of Global comments, especially
regarding the selection of the both genders
radio buttons, is the user would enter a
NON-GENDER-BIASED comment in the text area and
that comment would be applied to any of the
selected students without regard to the students
gender. To use Global comments for gender
specific groups, select the female gender or
male gender radio button and apply the comments
to that set of students. Return to the Global
page and select a radio button for the other
gender and apply comments to that set of
students. To enter Global Comments, click Global
Edits.
44Select Do not change where data already exist or
Change everywhere. Also, select at least one
student, a group of students or Select All
Students.
Click Start Global Edits.
45Background changes to Global wallpaper
background. You may enter global rubrics.
Changes must be saved before you can move to
another content area.
46Grade assignment will only show on 4th quarter.
You may use Global Edits for comments in Language
Arts (green), Mathematics (blue), and General
(red). Use StudentName for the generic
place-holder of the students name.
47Use global comments on the Attendance tab.
Once you have added global rubrics or comments
you must save changes. You will not be able to
move on unless you Save Changes.
48If you have a multi-grade class select which
grade you will be applying global edits. Each
grade level is done individually.
49Custom Comments To use custom comments, click
Comments tab and select Custom Comments from the
drop down menu. (Custom Comments can be created
with an individual student or in Global mode.
Comments will be saved in a database, and can be
used interchangeably.)
50Select New Custom Comment.
Add a title for your comment and type your
comment in the appropriate boxes.
Add comment in English Male and English Female
and/or Spanish Male or Spanish Female
boxes. Spell check and Save. It will become
both language and gender specific. Your comment
will now be saved under the custom comment menu
and can be used in any comment area. Click Save
and Exit Global Editing.
51Dropped Students If a student has been dropped
from your class roster, this screen will appear
after you have login. To drop this student from
your list, click Remove from List and Save
Changes.
The student will remain on your dropped student
tab, and can be restored as needed.
The Students tab will then allow you to start the
grading/ rubric process.
52PrintingTo print student report cards, click the
RCB Printer icon on your desktop.
Reminder You may access and enter data from
school AND/ OR home. You may print ONLY from
school.
Type in your TUSDStats Username and Password in
the window that opens. Click Log-On.
53From the list of your students, select the
student you wish to preview by clicking on his or
her name.
Select the desired quarter to preview.
Check Preview All Students in English if desired.
54Click Preview Student.
The arrow to the left indicates the individual
student selected.
55You will view a rough preview of the Progress
Report for each the student. Scroll from one
student to next with the Preview Student and Next
Student tabs.
Click Enhanced Preview to view a printer ready
copy of any individual students progress report.
56In Enhanced Preview you may view each page by
clicking the up or down arrows.
Click printer icon to print a single students
record.
Click Close to return to Student preview page.
57Click Exit Preview to return to the list of your
students.
58Select the Print radio button to print.
Add a check in front of each name to select
students.
Select All Students or Unselect All by using tabs
at top.
59Select Quarter.
Choose Print All Students in English if desired.
60Important Before printing click Refresh Data if
changes to data were made in the RCB Editor.
61You can open RCB Editor from Report Card Printer
by clicking on icon.
62Access and print Parental Access Information by
clicking the icon.
