Being Bless in the Middle of a Mess

• Raising Kids is a lot of work- Am I doing a good
  job?
• Being a wife and a friend- Is my spouse happy?
  Satisfied? fulfilled?
• I do not have time to stay healthy- How can I
  take care of myself? Its more than hair and
  nails.
• I have yet to find my purpose
• Searching for meaning in all the wrong places
• I want my freedom.
• How can I please God?
• My life is on track how can I give back?
• Where can I use my gift?

Pressure from Duties

• Kids are not disciplined and I feel alone
• My Husband is not satisfied at home and neither
  am I
• My health is deteriorating physically and
  spiritually
• Without a purpose is feel lost in church activity
• I enjoy my freedom but have made bad choices
• I am busy at church doing things that I hope God
  is pleased with
• I do not feel important
• My freedom has lead to some challenges (Desperate
  Housewives)
• How can I give back?

The Fruit of this pressure.

• More kids dropping out of school than ever
  because no on is monitoring their education
• Kids are on prescription drugs to deal with pain
• Unfulfilled marriages has lead to an increase in
  extra marital affairs
• Email flirting is still flirting,
• Seeking emotional satisfaction from a friend is
  dangerous-
• I feel better when others compliment me- I dress
  in a way that gets attention that my husband does
  not offer
• Make- up makes me feel beautiful but covers up
  the scars
• My deep wounds of the past often hurt people in
  the present
• Hurting people hurt people
• I suffer from depression to deal with the
  pressure
• My freedom has isolated me from others
• Your share a home with your spouse and nothing
  else
• Chronic health problems
• I my business at church is a mask over my
  uncertainty
• I have left a legacy behind for others to follow.

How does it impact your relationship with God

• Some shave given up on God
• Some have put God off to the side
• God is not a priority
• We know every book on Alias but have become Alien
  to the one book that can save us- Where is my
  bible?
• We understand where the virus is in the series 24
  but could not be quote Psalm 24 that suggest
  Lift Up your heads all ye Gates
• God becomes too distant to communicate with
  because your view of your father or your husband
  at times has tainted your perspective
• Some do not know him
• Some have walked with him and trust Him
• Some depend on him daily
• Where are you with God?

The enemies wants you to

• Quit- never finish Gods work
• Complain- look for fault verses blessings
• Retreat- walk away from help
• Isolate- hide from the world
• React
• Hold on to the past- walk in unforgiveness,
  bitterness
• Vent- Lash out and tell the world
• Pout- express your disappointment in your
  attitude
• Be Distracted stay busy and never do Gods will
• Be tired- Sunday is the day of rest and yet its
  filled with activities, sports , work, planning ,
  meetings- God wants you to slow down

God Has a Plan for Women

• He chose Mary to provide for the Savior
• He chose women to speak into the lives of people
  all through out the bible
• He chose mothers to carry a gift
• He chose you and your are blessed in the middle
  of this mess
