Executive Summary
The Lance is concerned that not enough people
are reading the newspaper. The Lance also needs
to generate more advertising revenue. The Lance
would also like to gain more staff so the
newspaper to flow more easily and accomplish
more. The Lance staff believes that by making
the newspaper more accessible and visible, and
also by improving its content, more people will
read it. The Lance needs to take more
initiative in getting advertising. By
methodically contacting advertisers and bettering
its marketing efforts, the Lance will get more
advertising from local businesses. The Lance
will increase its reporting staff by recruiting
more actively and providing incentives for those
who join the Lance. The Lance has many
opportunities to improve and it merely needs to
take more initiative to increase readers,
advertisers, and staff.
