• Do you wake up in the morning and realize that
  your late to work. There is nothing worse than
  feeling rushed to get to work when your late.
  For most people running late to work makes them
  feel franticly rushed to get ready for work.
  Running around the house like there is fire under
  their feet. Then again for others , realizing
  that they are late to work gets their creative
  juices flowing to make up the latest excuse as to
  why they are late again.

One-third or (33) of workers blamed traffic
for their tardiness at work. While 24 said that
their lack of sleep was the culprit for their
being late to work. 10 said that getting their
kids ready for school or daycare was the main
reason why they ran late in the morning. Other
common reasons included public transportation,
wardrobe issues, and or dealing with pets.

• some employers tend to be more lenient with
  their worker punctuality. But others are not so
  lenient. 30 say that they have terminated an
  employee for being late to work, said Rosemary

• The general rule is that you should be at your
  desk and working by your designated starting
  time. Even though you are there, if you are not
  working on time then you are considered late.
  Though you should always try your best to be
  punctual every morning, sometimes its safe to
  observe company culture. If you arrive and your
  co-workers are all at work your tardiness will
  probably stand out. On the other hand, if most
  people filter in at their own paceswithin
  reason an occasional late arrival may go
  unnoticed.
