Some Extension Responsibilities

• Develop and conduct educational programs
• Organize and conduct workshops, In-service
  training, field demonstrations, etc.
• Give presentations at meetings, conferences, on
  TV and radio, etc.
• Write extension publications, newsletters, timely
  information, fact sheets, newspaper articles,
  online publications, etc.
• Respond to emerging and urgent pest problems
• Provide daily service by answer calls, visits,
  letters, emails, ID samples, etc.
