    likelihood of injury, disease, or other negative
    outcomes

  • Consider the short and long term consequences
  • Will this effect my health immediately and/or
    long term?
  • Identify is you can control it or not
  • You can control risk factors related to your
    behavior!
  • Analyze the benefits and risks of the situation
  • Decide if the benefits outweigh the risks

    American.
  • Eliminate differences in health based on race,
    ethnic group, or income

  • Create your own health goals-
  • Write an obtainable personal health goal for at
    least two aspects of health (physical,
    mental/emotional, and/or social health) that you
    will work towards during the semester or near
    future.
  • You must come up with action plans to go along
    with your goals. The action plan must have at
    least 3 specific and practical steps.
  • Finally, write why you chose the goals that you
    did. How will your goal going to contribute to
    improving their overall health?
