Webmail 1

• requires web browser (Internet Explorer,
  Netscape, Godzilla)
• structured
• login page
• folders
• new messages (create, read)
• older messages, forward, answer, ...)
• etc.

Webmail 2

• web browser (local PC) communicates with internet
  server (program somewhere far away) gt browser
  sends task through Inet
• internet server communicates with mail server
  (another program run often at the same computer
  as internet server)
• NOTE WEB SERVER IS NOT INTERNET SERVER!

Webmail 3

• mail messages are stored on mail server until
  user requires them (mail programs Outlook
  Express, web browsers)
• various designs (YAHOO.com, 1.LFUK webmail,
  CENTRUM.cz, ...)

Clipboard 1

• clipboard system file in computer memory, where
  some data (text, picture, etc.) can be
  temporarily stored while comuputer is on
• this data can be overwritten

Clipboard 2 - Exercise

• create folder EXERCISE on drive W
• run WORD
• open any web page in INTERNET EXPLORER
• select some text with mouse
• copy this selected text to clipboard (Edit/Upravy
  -gt Copy/Kopirovat CTRL C)

• switch back to WORD
• paste content of clipboard to new document
  (Edit/Upravy -gt Paste/Vlozit CTRL V)
• select some other text
• paste it to document
• close WORD
