Internship Overview
  • Goal The purpose of the Greater Grace Temple
    Ministerial Internship is to provide more adept
    and targeted ministerial training. Our goal is to
    provide guidance and intense hands on training to
    increase the effectiveness of all the new
    ministers and the Ministerial staff. Upon
    completion of the 45 day internship, each
    ministerial candidate should attain a basic
    understanding of foundational activities of the
    Ministerial Alliance. The objective is to achieve
    the follow
  • Focus on core foundational activities. Learn the
    basic of ministry
  • Enhance training and as well reinforce the
    realties of ministry.
  • Develop sound habits in terms of functioning in
    ministry
  • Identify your strengths growth opportunities in
    ministry
  • Cultivate a climate of discipline and learning.
    Develop leaders
  • Clarify different stages of Ministerial growth
    Consecration and manifestation.

Time Line
  • Final Examination on March 18th as well as a
    Serving in the Kingdom discussion with Pastor
    Milton Andrew
  • The 45 day internship and observation period from
    March 18th thru May 13th.
  • Six weeks of hands-on REAL WORLD experience.
  • All activities will be tracked by the mentors and
    reported to Pastor Glenn and Pastor Owens.
  • Each team member must communicate with the team
    leaders once a week. Its MANDATORY!!!!!
  • During the 45 day internship period, the GMI
    instructors will hold two classroom sessions.
    DATE TBA.
  • May 13th GMI Pizza party and graduation
    preparation

Implementation
  • The GMI class will be divided into 6 ministerial
    teams. Each team will have two mentors. The
    responsibilities of the mentors are as follows
  • 1. Coordinate, coach and provide specific
    guidance for the team.
  • 2. Ensure the activity chart is tracked on a
    weekly basis.
  • 3. Address questions and concerns of the team
  • 4. Provide honest feedback and coaching to
    the team
  • 5. Each mentor team will communicate with the
    instructors at least once a week.
  • 6.Specifically help guide hospital, nursing
    home visitation and funeral services.
  • 7. In order to complete the Ministers
    training course, each candidate must successfully
    complete all activities and write a one page
    summary about the internship process.
