Introduction
  • The two old historians want to argue the case of
Emily Davison but they need a good script. You
need to create a script that looks at the
    differing interpretations of Davisons death.
Look at how to achieve the levels and make sure
you talk about both views. You need to get the
two old historians to argue with each other in
your script over which view is right.

5
How to get a level four
  • You will have identified that there are
different interpretations and given a little
explanation but you need to explain evidence to
    support your ideas more effectively.

6
Level Four
  • Emily Davison did not mean to kill herself,
evidence to support this interpretation can be
seen by her purchasing a return ticket and the
ticket to a suffragette event in the evening.

7
How to get a level five
  • You will have identified that there are
different interpretations and given a number of
developed explanations that explain why the
    evidence is so important.

8
Level Five
  • Emily Davison did not mean to kill herself,
evidence to support this interpretation can be
seen by her purchasing a return ticket and the
ticket to a suffragette event in the evening.
This is important because if she was meaning to
kill herself she would not have bought tickets to
    events in the future.

9
How to get a level six
  • You will have identified that there are
different interpretations and given a number of
detailed and developed explanations. You will
also have used evidence to support your ideas in
an effective manner. You will also have shown the
ability to use analysis such as questioning the
    reliability.

10
Level Six
  • Emily Davison did not mean to kill herself,
evidence to support this interpretation can be
seen by her purchasing a return ticket and the
ticket to a suffragette event in the evening.
However this evidence is rather limiting, we
dont know if she was trying to hide her actions
or if she planned to commit suicide on the day,
    after she bought the tickets.

11
How to get a level seven
  • You will have identified that there are
different interpretations and given a number of
detailed and developed explanations. You will
also have used evidence to support your ideas in
an effective manner. You will also have shown the
ability to use analysis such as looking at the
reliability of the evidence presented to you.
Finally, you will have used wider research to
look at what other historians think about the
event to support or go against your views.

12
Level Seven
  • Same as level six but you will add From my own
    research I found that Davison
