6Two exercises to encourage us to apply our
biblical reflections to our traditional ethos as
a Movement in a way which links basic beliefs
with mission practices.
First an experienced worker will revisits our
ethos why we do things the way we do.
Second small percolation groups will detect
the implications of this analysis for our present
practice. To be led by three members of the
Intl Staff Team Janet Morgan, Wendy Strachan
and Clayton Fergie

7Ministry conversations arising out of initiatives
being developed and ideas for ministry and SU in
general. Some will be pre-planned (Wed) and
other topics identified as conference proceeds
(Fri). These may be repeated to enable greater
participation.
On the Thursday and Saturday, State movements
and other groups (SUA, RFM, ChildSafe) will use
this time to capture what is being heard and
begin processes to evaluate what is happening on
the ground, with a view to achieving best
practice in line with our ethos. The focus may be
on policy and training guided by some tough
questions about the way we actually do things on
the ground.

ways which inspire us to participate with God in
transforming the world God loves. Deborah
