SQL Results Combined

• Fixed April-June 2002 database bug.
• OR of all of the Bad.
• If we were luckier the big chunks of bad runs
  would have overlapped.
• For Feb. Mar. 2003, only muon CTT have
  reported.
• The 4/02 and 5/02 DB problems reported last week
  were repaired.

RecoCert

• RecoCert Part of the Offline-of-defense for
  data quality. Developed by Harry M.
• A Framework Package presently used to determine
  stability/suitability of the event reconstruction
  software.
• Runs on DSTs (TMBs soon)
• Produces Root-Tuples. MakePlots produces .ps
• My intent is that offline shifters use this every
  day
• Monitor most recent Reco output
• Monitor a large fraction of Reco output
• Some development work remains to be done (HMHTD)
• Improve the histograms
• Document the histograms
• Develop a procedure for operating it and
  reporting results, whether good or suggestive of
  problems.

  examples.
• The intent is to select a set of histos that
  quickly allow non-experts to trigger on the
  existance of problems.

Summer Workshop

• A product of the Beaune Workshop is Plans and
  Goals for improved DZero data quality.
• 2/3 of agenda is devoted to this issue.
• We have already contacted the physics group
  leaders and Det./Algo./ID Group leaders
• Asked the P.G.L.s to provide names of speakers
  outlining specs for certain key analyses in
  their physics groups.
• Asked the others to share their good ideas see
  how to meet the specs required by the physics.
• Very little feedback from you leaders. We assume
  its because you are busy making detailed plans.
• Plenary Parallel Session agenda will be
  available by the end of next week?

Summary

• We need to have the best quality data so that we
  get the best quality results.
• A Run Quality Database still exists and is better
  than it was last week.
• Offline-of-defense RecoCert will be an
  available tool for monitoring data quality,
  hopefully in the gears of one of our shift
  machines.
• The Beaune Workshop is sooner than you are
  planning-for.
