Hardware Requirements-2TB

• Pictometry External Harddrive and NAS Server
  Information
• NAS units 
• The capacity specified is unformatted after
  RAID-5
• Each has been tested and configured at
  Pictometry, and includes the copying of customer
  data to the NAS

Hardware Continued

• External Hard Drives
• 2TB eSATA unit will be 999 from Pictometry.
• It will be a "fast eSATA", with the 3Gb/s
  (gigabits per second) transfer capabilities. The
  Customers interface card in the PC will
  determine their overall throughput, and the 3Gb/s
  models are compatible with 1.56Gb/s cards, and
  vice-versa. Our current 1TB drives already have
  1.56Gb/s eSATA ports on them, along with FireWire
  and USB 2.0.
• The currently-available non-eSATA 2TB external
  drive is on the price list at 1190

Software Requirements

• Recommended Minimum System Requirements for
  Electronic Field Study 
• A Pentium III with a 450 MHz processor
• 256MB memory minimum 512MB recommended
• Windows 2000/XP
• Video card with 4 MB memory capable of 1024 x 768
  resolution, display color of 24bit or higher,
  100MB NIC and 50MB free disk space for software.
• OPTIMUM PERFORMANCE
• Processor should be 1 GHZ or more
• 2 GB of memory

Receiving Software and Imagery

• 2 Schools of Thought
• 1. If a funding partner purchases a
  Server/External Hard from us, then everything
  will be shipped to the partner direct from our
  Corporate Headquarters.
• 2. If not, then a copy will be made by me of the
  HGAC delivery and then delivered once complete.

Training

• Administered by Pictometrys Customer Resource
  Manager assigned to HGAC.
• HGAC will Schedule Training.
• Will be onsite at funding partner location unless
  otherwise notified.
• IMPORTANT-Will need to be arranged so that ALL
  training is within a 2 week window.
