Who He Is

• For more than thirty years, Paul Dresher has been
  fashioning remarkable instruments that help him
  push the limits of contemporary composition.

The Inventing Process

• Drescher's instruments begin by experimenting
  with found or scrap materials.

Creations

• Quadrichord (7 foot plank of wood with guitar
  strings on it. Plucked, strung, hammered)
• Giant Metronome (Built specifically for his play
  Sound Stage)

• Has a band called the Electro-Acoustic band.
• Started in 1993

Education

• Received his BA in Music from UC Berkeley and his
  MA in Composition from UC San Diego.

  many different instruments that he has made.
