About PDLCs

• PDLC (Polymer Dispersed Liquid Crystal) is the
  3-D composite structure which is formed by
  polymer and liquid crystals. The final morphology
  is strongly depend on the polymerization rate,
  liquid crystal/monomer composition, temperature,
  and the method of polymerization.

Advantages of PDLC systems

• These composite films allow us to prepare
  flexible displays, because they form self
  adhering, self sustaining films.
• PDLC is ideal for roll to roll processing using
  plastic substrates
