Buying a New Masjid
  • Made an offer to the owner of the church and
    negotiated the price down to about a 1.25
    millions.
  • The bank sued the owner of the church over legal
    issues.
  • We contacted the bank and tried to work a short
    sale but it was not possible as the bank had
    already commenced foreclosure proceedings.
  • The process was delayed as the owner of the
    church filed for bankruptcy.
  • The lawsuit is back on track after lifting the
    bankruptcy motion.
  • Our last correspondence with the bank was as of a
    couple of weeks ago. The lawsuit is progressing
    but slowly.
  • Our pending offer to the bank is 700,000 subject
    to negotiation upon acquiring the property.
  • Note Given the nature of the building, it is
    highly likely that we will find ourselves in a
    bidding war against other entities.

  • Fixing damaged floors from pews removal
  • Installing prayer carpet
  • Sound system move and setup
  • Bathroom renovations
  • Heating and cooling accommodations
  • Move and install security camera system
  • Purchase and install keypad lock on main entrance
    doors
