• The O.C. is the story of a tough kid from Chino
  (Ryan Atwood) who finds himself becoming apart of
  the world of Newport Beach
• He is taken in by a self-righteous D.A. and
  introduced into the glitz, glamour, and gossip of
  the O.C.

• Despite being from a different world, he ends up
  saving the lives of the people he becomes close
  to, in one way or another.
• Is he the cousin from Boston? The pool boy? From
  Canada? The illegitimate son?..
