General considerations

• Less subjects to be treated and more related to
  the single interest
• More students in order to improve the peer to
  peer learning
• Different order of the subjects to be treated
• More practical examples are needed
• Some subjects should be more explained others
  should be less

General considerations

• The training was considered fairly-good
• The knowledge on PDT, in general is increased
• Some interest has been shown on the use of PDT to
  Life Cycle Assessment, Product reliability and
  ISO 9000
• New subjects for the students are sometimes
  treated in too much details
• Known subjects should be treated from a more
  practical point of view

Final consideration

• SC4 standards are for specialists
• It is necessary that new skills are created in
  order to promote all the SC4 standards
• The designer is not interested in Catalogues and
  vice versa.
• A PDT manager should be identified
• The PDT manager could be in staff or in
  outsourcing for small business

Future plan

• DEPUIS (Design of Environmental-friendly Products
  Using Information Standards) has been funded by
  EU
• E-learning courses will be realized in all the
  subjects treated during the training
• The e-learning courses will be translated in
  Spanish, Italian, German, Lithuanian language,
  Dutch and Norwegian
• Workshops in all the participating countries will
  be organized
• The e-learning courses will be freely available
  in the www.depuis.enea.it as well as in the
  www.pdt.enea.it web site
• The new skill of PDT manager will be promoted
  within Europe
• Other countries could join the project by
  organizing other workshop and translating the
  courses in their country languages
