User Accounts

• User Name/User ID
• First initial of your first name first 7
  letters of your last name (for example
  jandrews)
• Maximum 8 characters (for example awilliam)
• Common names may have a digit at the end
• (for example jsmith1)

Your User Name is the same for all systems and
it NEVER changes!

Passwords
Your OUHSC computer account password will expire
every 180 days

• Password guidelines
• Passwords must be between 8 to 14 characters no
  spaces
• Passwords must be a combination of letters
  (uppercase and lower-case), numbers, and special
  characters
• No dictionary words
• Do NOT use common information i.e. pets name,
  nickname, phone number, etc.
• Never share this information with anyone
