Existing Debt Allotment
  • EDA provides tax assistance to help pay the
    principal and interest on bonds.
  • A district is eligible by simply making a payment
    on bonds on or before August 31, 2007.
  • State assistance begins in 2009-2010
  • It is estimated that State Assistance will reduce
    the tax rate approximately 10 cents in 2009-2010.

  • Per the 79th Legislative Session, bond elections
    may only be held on uniform election dates in May
    or November.

  • On February 26th, the Board of Trustees approved
    an official order calling for a May 12th Bond
    Election to authorize the sale of 48.4 Million
    in bonds.
