ABOUT GRIPS

• Established in 1997 by the Japanese government
• Superseded Graduate School of Policy Science
  (GSPS) at Saitama University, the first graduate
  school for Policy Studies in Japan
• Aims to educate future leaders in the policy
  arena
• Majority of students work for ministries or
  government-related offices
