  • This presentation summarises how international
    research findings on Networking for Learning
    are being used in New Zealand to develop an
    education sector led initiative focused on
  • enhancing collaboration within and between
    schools
  • effective leadership learning

Background .
  • Deepening understanding of international research
    findings on change, the impact of learning
    networks, the way successful networks develop and
    the influences that affect change and improvement
    efforts
  • Questioning of support (coaching and content)
    given to schools on how to lead, develop and
    implement in-school and between-school
    initiatives focused on improving student
    achievement
  • Opportunity to introduce NfL, an internationally
    developed simulation, in New Zealand

    Trust subsidiary of Multiserve Education Trust
    (MSET)
  • MSET Sponsorship of New Zealand Principals
    Federation (NZPF)
  • NZPF and MSET agreement to use sponsorship
