OBJECTIVES

• Provide an African business network framework
• Federate African FOSS companies to break through
  FOSS world market
• Constitute a lobby to influence the use of FOSS
  by national decisions makers and sensitize them
  on political, strategic and economic interests
  for African countries

ACTIVITIES

• Web forums on economic subjects
• Organization of a dedicated Business Forum each
  year during the annual African FOSS Meeting
  (RALL) next in MOROCCO -OCTOBER 2006
• Involvement in workgroups for the promotion and
  the development of FOSS in Africa
• Participation in several international FOSS
  meetings, conferences and congresses to promote
  the African FOSS industry. CHALA is a member of
  FOSSFA council and Active member of AAUL
• Organization of specific workshops and events
• Training programme experiences sharing
