Miss Hanby and George woke up VERY early to go to
the Philadelphia airport.

George had his plane ticket and passport
ready! He needed a passport because the Bahamas
is outside of the U.S.

George got very bored while waiting for the plane
to arrive, so he explored the Philadelphia
airport. He was very curious about the Liberty
Bell.

When George got closer, he saw that the Liberty
Bell was made completely out of LEGOs!

George had never flown before so he was very
curious about the airplanes. He sat and watched
the planes landing and taking off.

It was time for George and Miss Hanby to board
the airplane. George listened to the pilot and
buckled up. He was nervous about flying but

he felt much better when he looked out the
window.

He was very curious about the islands in the
sparkling blue water down below. He couldnt wait
until the plane landed in the Bahamas.

George and Miss Hanby took a taxi to the hotel
and explored a bit.

George was amazed that he could see all the way
to the bottom of the ocean. He couldnt wait to
jump into the water.

It was such a warm and sunny day. After
swimming, George relaxed and dried off near the
pool.

The next day, George and Miss Hanby took a water
taxi to Nassau, Bahamas. George was very
popular. Everyone was happy to see him.

While riding the water taxi, George saw the big
cruise ships. Next time, George wants to take a
vacation on a cruise ship. Miss Hanby hopes
George will take her with him!

George bought a lot of souvenirs in Nassau.

He also ate A LOT of ice cream at the Ben and
Jerrys store. He ate so much ice cream he got a
tummy ache!

Atlantis is a big hotel on the island with
waterfalls, rides, and a aquarium.

Atlantis.

jumped in the tank. A big fish thought George
was food. George swam quickly to safety. From
then on, he stayed on the other side of the glass.

At the aquarium, George saw many different sea
animals. He saw eels, jellyfish, puffer fish,
and clown fish.

George explored the rainforest
and rode on the dolphins.

After such a busy day, George went to bed early.
He was really tired.

The next day, George packed his things and got
ready to go home. He was sad about leaving the
Bahamas but he missed Miss Hanbys class and
couldnt wait to tell them all about his vacation.
