8Who is Chiefly Responsible?
- Many board games, kits, and toys do not credit
- an author who is primarily responsible for the
- work.
- Some do, and if the relationship is clear
- and listed as part of the Chief Source of
- Information, record it.
Do not forget about other named individuals, such
as illustrators, who may merit an additional
access point.

- If there are so many pieces/parts/components
- that listing them all is out of the question,
then - use the term (various pieces).
- Optionally, describe those various pieces in
- detail in a note (10.5B2)

- If the material is an important part of the
- description, then include it. If the material
- cannot be described concisely, give this
- information in a note, or omit it completely.

and give its dimensions these can be the only
dimensions given, or can be recorded in addition
to the dimensions of the object housed in the
container (10.5D2) - If the objects differ in size, give a range

- Give the details of any accompanying material
- (rules, pamphlets, instructions, etc.)

33Closing Thoughts
- "...there will still be many situations where
personal judgments must be made. This is
overstating the obvious, but I also feel that
many people are reticent to make these calls for
fear that they will make a mistake and "the
cataloging police" will come down on them. We
need to overcome such feelings of inadequacy and
