Background
- The Aho Report of 2006 called for re-balancing
supply and demand innovation policies in the EU - EU needs more innovation friendly-markets and to
stimulate demand - The Broad-based innovation strategy
Communication proposed a policy intervention to
facilitate the emergence of lead markets in the
EU - The Lead Markets Initiative Communication
