• TASC NEW YEARS DAY DRAW AIMS TO RAISE 2,500
  FANTASTIC PRIZES
• The annual TASC New Years Day Draw takes place
  at 5.30pm on Friday 1st January 2010 after the
  Wrexham home game in the Noel White Suite. This
  year we have some fantastic prizes including
• Wharfedale HD Ready 19 inch digital LCD TV
• Songmaker Recording Studio Experience
• Philips Blu-ray Disc Player
• Garmin Sat-Nav system
• 90 Aroma Spa Vouchers for The Marriott, Worsley
  Park
• Epson SX200 Printer/Scanner/Copier
• Signed Altrincham F.C. Ball
• Courvoisier Brandy Two Glasses Set
• Last year we were able to raise nearly 2,000
  this year we are aiming 25 higher. A tough
  TASC(!) but one that we can achieve. If every
  regular attendee at home games sold just 3 books
  per person to family and friends we would be able
  to reach this. As last year, tickets are
  reasonably priced at 40p each/2 for a book of
  five. Tickets will be on sale in the Noel White
  Suite and TASC section of the club shop before
  and at half time of all December home games (and
  afterwards in the Noel White Suite. They will
  also be sold around the ground at half time
  (volunteers permitting!).
• Please, do feel free to take books of tickets of
  us and return the stubs and money at future home
  games. If you are unable to get to home games to
  collect tickets please ring the club on 0161 928
  1045 or email altytasc_at_tiscali.co.uk or
  brianflynn_at_hotmail.com and we will arrange for
  tickets to be posted out to you.
• As stated above, we are looking for volunteers to
  sell tickets at half time during games, it was
  those volunteers who made a huge difference last
  year. If you can possibly help then please either
  ring or email the above details or see Gareth
  Thomas in the Noel White Suite before games (the
  chap sat at a table with hundreds of raffle
  tickets around him) or Anthony Wright or Mike
  Garnett in the TASC section of the club shop.
  EVEN IF YOU CAN ONLY HELP FOR ONE GAME FOR 20
  MINUTES OR SO IT WILL LIGHTEN THE LOAD AND HELP
  US ACHIEVE OUR GOAL!

Wednesday, 9th December, at 12.30pm PENSIONERS'
CHRISTMAS LUNCH The pensioners' lunch will be
held in the Sponsors Lounge and will cost just
7-50 per person. Last year's event was a giant
success so please book early if you'd like to
come along. This is open to everyone, not just
Altrincham supporters. Book on 0161 - 928 -1045
RECYCLE YOUR PHONE FOR ALTY For the 2009/10
season, TASC are relaunching the mobile phone
recycling scheme. Our target for this year is to
raise the same amount as last year. We raised
over 804.87 from 131 phones last year. As last
year, please hand your old mobiles in to any
member of the TASC committee, or to the boxes in
the bar or shop, or to the club's offices during
normal office hours on any working day.

RETURN OF THE HARBINGERS TASC chairman Brian
Flynn writes... Following the success of their
gig in April, TASC are delighted to announce that
Harbingers....plus Support... will return to
perform in The Noel White Suite on Friday
December 11th at 7.30pm (doors Open at 7pm).
'Harbingers' are a band comprising a number of
Altrincham supporters including the club's
longest serving gateman........Nigel Hennerley
and they will be performing songs from their
debut album 'Falling off Roofs' and their
recently recorded EP. The full line up of the
band is MIKE BENSON - Guitars/Vocals IAN PRICE -
Bass/Vocals JIM BENSON - Drums NIGEL HENNERLEY -
Guitars This is sure to be an excellent evening
!!!!!!!! Tickets available by e-mail from Brian
Flynn or on 07860 561011. 4 in advance, 5 on
the door.
ALTY AND THE FOOTBALL LEAGUE It has been
confirmed that Altrincham FC will be applying to
enter the Football League next season should they
qualify to do so at the end of this campaign.
However the cost for the application is 1,000 so
supporters are being asked to do their best to
raise 1,000 in the next couple of days as a
matter of urgency. You can contribute with any

ALTRINCHAM F.C. MY SQUARE PITCH SPONSORSHIP
2009/10 The My Square pitch sponsorship scheme
gives Alty fans the chance to sponsor their own
little square of the Moss Lane pitch for a whole
season for as little as 3!! At the end of the
season and one lucky winner will receive a very
special prize their very own square of Moss
Lane turf to plant at home in their garden! TASC
member Steve Foster has acquired a whiteboard

• TASC CALENDARS AVAILABLE NOW
• TASC are delighted to say that calendars will be
  available to purchase at all home games. They
  will be available in the shop pre-game and in the
  Bar after the game. Calendars will cost only
  9.99".
• Right, is a reduced sized sample of the new
  17-month calendar, which runs from August 2009 to
  December 2010. Packed with Gavin Rathbone's
  excellent photos, it can be ordered from the club
  (928-1045) if you cannot get one on Saturday.

CULTZEROS T-SHIRTS The Altrincham Supporters'
Club (TASC) has teamed up with a supplier called
Cult Zeros to offer supporters a range of made to
order Altrincham FC T-shirts (seen right). The
T-shirts are available in all men's, women's and
children's sizes, a wide range of colours and
will feature an image of any player that you
choose, along with whatever text that you
require. The T-shirts are priced at 13.99 each.

OLD MOBILE PHONES WANTED Last season TASC
appealed for supporters to donate their old
mobile phones. We received a large number of them
and because of the large quantity TASC were able
to secure a very favourable rate of return for
them (greater than an individual would). Thus far
we have raised over 700 and are aiming to get
this above 1000 before Christmas. If you, your
family or friends have any spare mobiles please
bring in any you have around, whether working or
not. It doesnt matter how old the are either
(chargers not needed). Phones can be brought to a
match (there is a box at the side of the bar in
the Noel White Suite or handed in at the club
shop) or brought into the club offices on any day
of the week. If you are not able to get to the
ground, phones can be posted to the club at the

THE TASC NEW YEARS DAY RAFFLE (a plea for a
small bit of help dont stop reading!! Last
years TASC raffle was a success raising 1,992
for the club, and wed like to take this
opportunity to re-iterate thanks to those who
donated prizes, bought and sold the tickets. This
year we want to break the 2,500
barrier! Firstly, any individual or company who
could donate a worthy prize are encouraged to
contact the club on 0161 928 1045 there may be
an excellent opportunity for sponsorship of the
tickets. Secondly, and this is where we ask for
just one hour of your time (no more, promise!)
the success or otherwise depends on our ability
to go around the ground selling tickets in games
running up to the draw. Last season TASC member
Gareth Thomas set up stall in the Noel White
Suite before games and at half time whilst Jamie
Taylor went around the ground. WE REALISE THAT
PEOPLE ARE WARY OF BEING DRAGGED IN TO DOING
SOMETHING EVERY WEEK SO WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
IS TO RECRUIT 12 VOLUNTEERS TO SELL TICKETS 2
PEOPLE AT EACH OF THE 6 HOME GAMES PRECEEDING THE
DRAW (while GT mans the table in the Noel White
Suite). This way members can donate just 15-30
minutes of their time and make a huge, huge
difference to our success, no experience of
selling anything required, hell, we managed to
get Nigel Clough and Steve Burr to buy some last
