2Welcome to Global MaritimesWeight Inventory
Program.
The program enables the user to-
- Keep a detailed and accurate inventory of the
weight and centre of gravity of a mobile offshore
unit - Confirm and check accuracy via measured drafts
heel and trim - Track the resulting intact stability
characteristics - Investigate damaged stability and counter
ballasting operations
3Program Operation
- Operator edits, inserts or deletes components
that make up the dead-weight of the vessel - Tank contents calculated from soundings
- Optional features include live update from tank
level gauges and draft gauges - Provides a secure and user friendly method for
the re-evaluation of the stability of the vessel
4Program Layout
- Data-viewing window provides access to all data
in the program.
Data-editing window enables data to be altered
using a series of tabs.
5Opening Window
- The opening window provides brief information
about the program.

6Global Maritime Support
- This tab supplies details for the user on how to
contact Global Maritime if help is required.
7Vessel Location details
- This tab records location specific details.
8Weather and Draft Details
- This tab contains draft and weather data.
9Entering Mooring and Riser details
- The data-viewing window displays updated wire
tensions.
Enter payouts tensions for each mooring line.

Height.
10WIP Data Entry Tab
- Edit, add and delete components of the
dead-weight.
View the effects of the alterations.
11Tank Contents Entry

tank.
Real time soundings can also be used.
12Allowable VCG Curves
- Up to 4 different allowable VCG curves can be
specified.
13Printed Reports
- Detailed and summary reports can be printed out.
All items making up displacement clearly
identified.
Lightship additions/removals can be tracked.
14Large Angle Stability
- Optional feature
- Large angle stability calculations
