IMT guidance for PCGs encourages

• Clinical systems which support all PHCT members,
  and which enable data to be entered once only and
  shared as required
• Carrying out regular audits of data recording
  procedures, to ensure that data held on the
  practice computer system is accurate and
  complete, or to identify areas which need
  attention
• Increased use of templates or protocols to prompt
  and standardise data entry
• Adopting standards and methods being used within
  CHDGP
