• Big Hairy Audacious Goal
• A BHAG is a clearly articulated goal that is
  reachable in 10 30 years
• It should be clear, compelling, tangible,
  energizing and highly focused
• People should get it right away, with no
  explanation

BHAG Committee Goals

• Receive feedback from every region - We need more
  volunteers! (A, C, D, I, J)
• Communicate regularly with entire SWE membership
  - specifically through COR
• Provide BHAG statement to assist with strategic
  plan revision
• Create motion to pass at 2006 COR in Kansas City
• Accept new BHAG as SWEs vision!

Timeline

• Circulate BHAG communication to COR - February
  24th
• Communicate with SWE members at every region
  conference - May 7th
• Post forum discussion - Month of April
• Compile feedback and post preliminary choices for
  COR to comment on and vote - May 15th
• Create BHAG and vivid descriptions - June 30th
• Create motion for COR meeting at conference -
  August 1st
