  audience the Bank's approach to engaging in NRM

Primary Objective

• Improve Communities Access to Natural Resources
• Agree on specific challenges that currently limit
  progress and strategies to address them
• Align policy and regulatory developments with
  piloting and implementation support (ex.
  demarcation)
• Mobilize new resources to help close the gap
  between policy and practice

Establish the Institutional Basis for Integrated
NRM

• Build on experience with integrated land use
  planning at local level
• Improve the quality and transparency of

• Strengthen natural resource monitoring
