• Course Objective To help implement the DoD
  Net-Centric Data Strategy by training people to
  establish Communities of Interest to solve
  information sharing problems
• Intended Audience Members of DoD Components
  (Military Services, Agencies, and Combatant
  Commands) who must help to implement Net-Centric
  data sharing to achieve effective military and
  government operations.
• Executive Overview Flag Officer/General Officer
• Detailed Training Officers and Civilian
  equivalents between the rank of captain and
  colonel
• Course Duration
• Executive Overview 2 hours
• Detailed Training 2 days

Executive Overview Desired Outcomes

• Awareness
• Understand how the DoD Net-Centric Strategies
  enable enterprise transformation to Net-Centric
  operations
• Actionable understanding of how to implement
  these strategies, focusing initially on making
  data and services visible, accessible,
  understandable, and trustable both within and
  outside the COI construct
• Advocacy
• Champion the approach
• Help identify and address remaining challenges
• Application
• Prioritize and scope information sharing needs
• Designate leads to establish COIs and COI pilots
  to address the information sharing needs
• Support these leads by providing Leadership and
  Governance
• Hold them accountable
