Objective

• Local schools can participate in an ongoing
  monthly reading contest
• Radio Disney and sponsorship prizes help motivate
  kids to read.
• Schools work as a team to be the top local school
  with the most minutes read.
• Schools will be recognized on air Radio Disney
  AM910
• Every student can participate, contest is based
  on minutes read, not reading level

The Contest

• Kids record daily minutes read
• Turn minutes in to teachers on a weekly basis.
• Each school then turns total school minutes into
  Radio Disney AM910.
• Once weekly the top 3 schools are announced on
  the air.
• The winner is announced at the end of every
  month.
• Rockin Recess is held at that school the
  following month.
• Traditional schools can break for summer or we
  can add in a summer contest to motivate them to
  read over the summer.

The Winners

• The school with the most minutes each month!
  (each school can only win once in a 12 month
  period)
• Wins a Radio Disney Rockin Recess!
• The top reader of each grade level will be
  recognized at the Rockin Recess with a special
  prize or certificate!
• The overall top reader of the school gets a
  certificate to turn in at the end of the year to
  Dine with the Radio Disney Dancers. (12 overall
  students) Plus they get to come to Radio Disney
  AM910 station to record a commercial!
• The school with most overall minutes read
  throughout the contest year gets a High School
  Musical Rockin Road show.
• This is a Radio Disney exclusive High School
  Musical party held in the evening at your school!
• Come party to HSM music and learn dances from HSM
  12!
• Plus tons of games and prizes!

Dine with the Dancers!

• During our Dine with the Dancers party.
• The 12 overall monthly winners over the year get
  to have a healthy meal at the Radio Disney AM910
  station or other location TBD
• Play fun games and win cool prizes
• Have a QA session with the dancers
• Even learn some High School Musical dances!
• All hosted by The Radio Disney AM910 Dancers!

Sponsorship

• Each local participating school would secure a
  sponsor. Radio Disney will help with that. All
  sponsors must be approved by The Walt Disney
  Company.
• To sponsor the reading program only
• Logo on your schools reading chart
• Your name on promos if your school is in the lead
• 600 for a 6 month sponsorship
• 1000 for a 12 month sponsorship
• To sponsor Rockin Recess to kick off the program
• Rockin Recess would be brought to the school by
  Radio Disney and your name
• All literature given to kids at Rockin Recess
  would have your name and logo on it
• 1500 for 90 minute Rockin Recess
• To Sponsor both levels
• 6 month sponsorship 600 plus Rockin Recess

• 12 month sponsorship 1000 plus Rockin Recess
  15002500
• If your school wins you get another Rockin
  Recess brought to the school by you! At no extra
  charge!

How do we sign up?

• If your school wants to participate in this
  program.
• Email corilynn1_at_msn.com
• With school name, contact information,
  traditional or year round, and sponsor if you
  have one.
• Phone meeting or face to face with school and
  sponsor to finalize and answer any questions.
• Sponsor will decide if they are going to sponsor
  a Rockin Recess to kick off the program.
• Set date for when program will start.
• Finalize contract.
• If you do not have a sponsor, Radio Disney will
  help you secure one! Every school can participate
  no matter what!
