Bones for furry friends
The Project we chose in service learning was to
collect raw hide bones for the Coastal Humane
Society. The pod two from Jordan acres including
Mrs. Orr, Mrs. Priest, Mr. Rynberg and the
children were excited to help us out with our
project. When we went to present everyone was
very excited about helping out the dogs at the
humane society.

We asked our friends at Jordan acres to collect
raw hide bones for the dogs and bring them into
their classrooms. We collected over 70 bags of
dog bones. Our goal in this project was to
collect bones for the humane society and to
inform the younger society about a great
non-profit organization. The bones are especially
helpful in the winter time when the dogs are
inside with nothing to do.
