The role of the SEIO

• SEIO is main coordinator of the EU integration
  process in Serbia (SAA negotiations, SAA
  implementation, accession negotiations)
• SEIO coordinates all the line ministries in the
  process of EU integrations and SAA negotiations
• development of strategy and monitoring of the
  harmonization process
• administrative capacity building
• analysis of economic aspects of harmonization
• SEIO prepares for adoption the acts of the
  Government designed for supervising, directing
  and harmonizing activities of the ministries and
  special organizations in relation to the EU
  association and accession (
• SEIO prepares the European Integration
  Councils meetings
• SEIO - a Secretariat for the Serbian
  Negotiating team and coordinator for SAA
  negotiations
