4CE in University Pierre et Marie Curie (Paris 6)
- In France CE was developed since 1971 (a
centralized management of the activity by
Continuing Education Service (SFC)). - Certificate ISO 9001 was obtained in June, 2007.
5CE in Kaunas University of Technology
- Continuing education is hosted and managed by the
various faculties, departments and institutes - There are around 200 programmes of CE in the
university.
6Problematic areas in CE in Paris 6
- In orientation and guidance of adults applying
for preparation of the courses leading to the
national diploma (bachelor and master degrees in
sciences) - A database of the former attendees of the courses
of CE is not used to maintain the links with
them. - ?

- No structural unit focusing on continuing
education in the university - Lack of information in the course description
(e.g. no exact dates of the beginning of the
