Combining with wh words and that (Relative
pronouns)

• Who, whose, whom refer to people
• Which refers to things, objects, actions, ideas
• That refers to places, objects, action, groups of
  people.
• Relative pronouns introduce something in the
  sentence.
• Comma Rule 4 Use a comma if the information is
  extra. If needed to complete the sentence dont
  use a comma.
• Example My dog, which has fleas, is my best
  friend.

Remember the wh clause can be removed from the
core sentence.

• Cheryl served the buttered toast. Cheryl works
  at Arties Restaurant.
• Cheryl, who served the buttered toast, works at
  Arties Restaurant.
• My cow gives chocolate milk. She is brown.
• My cow, which gives chocolate milk, is brown.
