Important Date Change

• Special called meeting for Feb. 28 is cancelled.
  President Bataille must be in Washington, D.C.
  that date.
• President Bataille will be at the Senates
  regular meeting March 14 at 2 p.m.

Important Item 2

• President Batailles Inauguration is set for
  April 13.
• Faculty are asked to be a part of the
  inauguration ceremony at 10 a.m. Friday, April 13
  details to follow
• Regalia deadline March 9
• April 12 luncheon for emeritus faculty and a
  party for students
• April 13 Emerald Ball for donors and friends
  (tickets 150 per person 75 for the after
  party black tie)

• Board of Regents meeting UNT Items
• Approved tuition increase for UNT students.
• Approved increasing tuition charged to UNT
  undergraduates who take a class more than twice
  and graduate students who exceed the number of
  hours paid for by the state.

• Board of Regents meeting UNT System items
• Contract extension for Chancellor Lee Jackson for
  3 three years and approved a 6 percent raise to
  an annual base salary of 350,000
• UNT System has completed acquisition of lofts in
  downtown Dallas acquisition of Universities
  Center at Dallas is in process.
