Both trials are first studies regarding the use
of Sangrovit in fattening rabbits. The growth
performance was numerically influenced by the
Sangrovit supplementation, whereby the effect was
most pronounced using the higher dosage of 60 ppm
Sangrovit. Furthermore the carcass quality
benefit from the Sangrovit supplementation.
Despite the trials were conducted on a farm the
number of animals is quite low and due to this
significant effects could not be expected.
However, these first trials show a clear
advantage of Sangrovit in view of performance and
profitability in fattening rabbits.
