• In 1929 The Casino opened with a grand ballroom
  there never was any gambling even though it was
  called a Casino.
• 10 year waiting list to own a car on Catalina,
  golf carts are main mode of transportation.

• In 1924 14 Buffalo were brought to the Island for
  the filming of a movie.
• By 1969 there were over 400 Buffalo on the Island
